IN ROME TOURS REVISED BLOG III Safety at Roma Termini  It's deteriorated, not unlike how the WordPress dashboard has gone to the dogs, what with wholly unnecessary and unwieldy "widgets" compromising control panel navigation.  Roma Termini is the central station in Rome. A magnet for lowlife, ergo drug dealers, drug users, prostitutes, Viator employees , and a small army of exclusively male immigrants who arrive here from north Africa. It's hell in waiting for tourists who arrive at night, especially late on a Friday or Saturday.  Consider the tide of immigrants flooding the greatest European capital. Thousands of males who have apparently seen "some kind of combat" in the third world, thousands more escaped criminals therefrom. It's easy to see how dangerous Termini station can be. IN ROME TOURS REVISED BLOG II Vatican City tours in the news  Late on March 17th. when St Patrick's Day in Rome was in full flow, the American owner of Vatican City Tours, who occupy prime virtual real estate on Google for keyword "Vatican tours", second in rank only to the official Vatican website , was arrested for fraud. For reasons best to known to himself, he was using his website to profit from non-existent tickets offering access to St. Peter's Square on May 1st, when the beatification of late Pope John Paul II will take place. Memorable experience. Wonderful tour of St. Peter's Basilica  We did the Vatican museum costine chapel and St. Peter's tour. Our tour guide was Fredrico. He was amazing. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and kept us all organized. Comfortable travel and AWESOME TOUR!  Everything was good from leaving Rome to reaching Naples and then the volcano train to Pompeii. We walked to the meeting point and met Dario, our wonderful guide and archaeologist. We were back in Rome by early evening too. Thank you!
